What is the difference between SmCo5 and Sm2Co17 magnet?

There are many factors that determine the delivery time of magnets, which are related to the performance, size, and shape of the products.

①The representation methods of the grades are different: SmCo5 is generally represented by YX; Sm2Co17 is generally represented by YXG.

②Different components: the main components of SmCo5 are samarium, cobalt, praseodymium, or just pure samarium cobalt; the main components of Sm2Co17 are samarium, cobalt, copper, iron and zirconium.

③Different physical properties: For example, the maximum working temperature of SmCo5 is 250℃, the maximum working temperature of Sm2Co17 is 350℃. The mechanical and physical properties of SmCo5 are better than those of Sm2Co17, and it is slightly easier to process, and Sm2Co17 is more brittle.
